About

Did you know that Canvas and Cocktails is one of the very first paint and sip studios in the country? It all started with me wanting to prove to my father that I could make a living with my "Art Degree". I love people, I love painting and I love wine- How could mixing the three not be a successful business? Canvas and Cocktails was formed one night in 2008 over a bottle of wine with my girlfriends. I signed a lease in Cherry Creek North in January 2009 and our doors opened in March. Word spread fast about our entertaining art concept and within the next year we expanded our space and started consulting our business concept to studio owners across the country. A few years later we opened a second location and started partnering with bars and breweries to enhance our experience offsite. Thirteen years later I am still amazed at the fact that I am able to wake up every day absolutely loving what I am doing- and the fact that I proved my dad wrong? Even better!! -Brittney

Even better!!

I have been a part of the Canvas and Cocktails team since 2014 and have worn all the very stylish hats over the years: host, bartender, assistant, instructor, manager, retailer - it's been such a fun and exciting journey! I am thrilled to continue painting with the Canvas and Cocktails community, leading you through painting events and also bringing the Splatter Tent into your worlds! My degree in Art & Art History and decade of experience at Canvas and Cocktails has given me such a unique insight into the art world and how therapeutic painting, and splatter painting, can be. “It doesn’t matter how the paint is put on, as long as something is said.” - Jackson Pollock

I have been a lead artist, instructor and event coordinator with Canvas and Cocktails since 2014 and it is, honestly, a dream job. Over the years I have learned so much more about art and my craft,  and I am honored to get to share that with the community. Wassily Kandinsky once said "There is no 'must' in art because art is free." Allowing my customers to let go of their stresses and bring them joy, through art, for a couple of hours is a real gift that I receive daily. I am thrilled to continue working with the best local bars, breweries and restaurants in Colorado to give you the greatest paint & sip experience around. Bring the whole family to an event, I can't wait to see you there!
